Currently, Minnesota ranks third in the Nation with being its members being Upper Level Members and Lifetime Sponsors of the National Wild Turkey Federation! That is pretty dang good for the relatively small amount of turkey hunters we have in the State as compared to others!  

Every time you purchase a sponsor membership, regular membership, or make a donation to a local chapter it goes into your individual Life to Date account.  Reaching the $5,000 level (Silver Life) of giving makes you an NWTF Major Donor and a Lifetime Member!  And there are levels of giving higher than that (a brochure can be mailed to anyone wishes to inquire further) There a quite a few members that sponsor multiple times to their local Chapter and/or sponsor surrounding Chapters to get there faster on an annual basis. Many Chapters include a list of Upper Level Members in their banquet program

One other way to become a Major Donor is to pledge Silver Life.   Which means the member wants to commit to that level over the next 4-5 years. Taking into account his accumulated Life to Date giving connected to his/her membership. Also when pledging Silver Life – if the husband/wife both have been members for many years – we can combine their accounts into one membership. Ex. Bob Johnson has been a sponsor member for 15 years and accumulated $3750 in memberships and his wife Betty has been a member on/off for those 15 years for $305; so their combined membership as Bob & Betty Johnson is $4,055! They would only need to pledge the difference of $945 over the next four years – simply continuing to do what they do by sponsoring annual! Making the pledge now they receive Silver Life status early, receive the pin/pendant for Silver Life, listed in the Annual Report as a Silver Life.   They would receive the plaque when the membership level reaches $5,000.

10th Legion Club

We do have several members in the State that have also joined the NWTF with a contribution of $10,000 in a calendar year! They get the distinction of being in the NWTF’s 10th Legion Club – which only has about 84 members across the Nation. That also includes some Chapters that have done “extra” fundraising outside of their normal banquet – thus helping the NWTF raise important funds for conservation!   Below is a list of current 10th Legion Members

Full Strut Club

Many of our members are starting to include the NWTF in their Estate Planning. Having it documented where your assets will be dispersed will benefit your heirs a lot! As they will know YOUR plan. We have no minimum levels to be included in the Full Strut Club and most wills can be revocable at any time. Can you help us Leave a Legacy to your grandchildren?
